Status of these forums?

If you choose to upgrade the forums at a later date will you be able to transfer our posts to that one?

Yes.

Any theoretical future upgrades will include proper member and post transfers, and will be as seamless as possible. I haven't made any firm decisions on platform changes, and as long as these forums serve the needs of our community, we will continue to use them. That's why I removed the "temporary forums" subtitle from the header.

Funny you should mention that Finneon, as I've just received permission from the great Scott Johnson (http://frogpants.com/) --of Extra Life (http://www.myextralife.com/) and The Instance Podcast (http://theinstance.net/) fame-- to use his insanely lovable Munch sketch as our forum mascot!
