I start to twitch if there is inconsistency. I do agree that we should do it the way we want but it would be nice if we could do things consistently through the whole wiki

I like the idea of linking to the wiki page and then linking out from there, for people who we have wiki pages for. If it's not changed by tomorrow i will do that.

So I've spent the better part of 3 hours researching 38 Studios history and I am pretty fascinated. I found another thread in the FoH forums that began when Curt first made his announcement about Green Monster Games. It is super cool to read...like opening a time capsule or something. The thread died somewhere in 2009 so it's been buried for awhile.

Anyways...It's been awesome to read Curt's excitement, even since the earliest days, and his vision to see this come about. He has a real gift for leadership; it is quite apparent. His willingness to invest and communicate with the "average" gamer is not to be undervalued.

I probably have to get some distance from all the thread-wading I've been experiencing, but I'll try to get some substantial 38 Studios stuff up either later tonight or tomorrow.

Ya man. I remember when that thread was posted. That was the thread that piqued my interest in this game, and inspired this site.

I've even got a few posts in there, under a long-since abandoned moniker. Lot's of interesting discourse in those pages. In fact, that thread probably deserves it's own page on the wiki, due to it's historic significance.

    Oh oh stories!

So back in 2008, or 09 (I can't remember) I was at GenCon and got a chance to talk a bit with Salvatore about his involvement in the game while he was signing a book of mine. He was pretty giddy with excitement about what they were doing, and seemed pretty excited that I was asking him about it. Of course they could talk very little then about things and you could tell that was really hard for him. I knew after that conversation that I was going to be hooked to this game, if for nothing else then the lore that was going to come out of it. So yeah...want more story bits!!

By the by I have listened to the PAX Demo about a million times and I can not get the name of the gnome guy who build the well of souls. The name is said like two or three times but.....

    Any ideas?

Just finished reading/scanning the entire thread. I'd say the first 300-400 pages of it are pretty awesome, but then it derails into absolute wacko thanks to one nutty poster hijacking the whole thing into scary realms of internet-bizarre. I kind of feel like I should take a shower, tbh. Glad they finally locked that one down, started a new one, and sent the scary person away. Can't believe it took them as long as it did.

That original post wasn't the first I had heard of a *possible* collaboration between the three founders but it was the first official confirmation of rumors I had heard.

I'm fairly amazed at my level of interest in the same product, for 5 years, that doesn't even fully exist yet.
