Never played the originals (I or II), so I'm keeping an eye on the Enhanced Editions. Worth it, d'you reckon? Also, this.

I have been following this too, especially when they announced a re-release of an enhanced version of Baldur's Gate I and II. I loved those games and still quote them from time to time, but Bioware still references it, so that's not so bad.

I'm hugely excited for the BG Enhanced Ed. I've claimed for a long time that the BG-Trilogy mod is one of the best comprehensive RPG gaming experiences ever created, its about time that the saga gets the official treatment. I dunno how I feel about BG3....I WANT to love the idea, but I feel a lot more comfortable with an overhaul of the existing Baldur's Gate story.
