    Google Drive

I am really excited about this and have been waiting for this forever. I am a pretty big fan of google and use google docs quite extensively so it will be nice to have a place to store/share files.

They're late to the game. For example, Microsoft Skydrive starts at 25GB of storage for free and had been around for a while now not to mention other services like Dropbox. It's integration in Google Docs and multiple platform integration is nice, but it still fails to impress me. I can see it being yet another move, although a smart one, for Google to try to make itself an "all of your needs" service provider, which is both exciting and terrifying.

Not as far fetched as you think. They haven't re-branded all of their companies so far, but they have the capital to do just about anything they want. It's just another step towards our dystopian future where some of my favorite stories take place so we may as well rush towards that since the high fantasy times have already passed us up.
