Ahhh I believe everyone here does as well. Honestly the entire day since the news hit I've felt almost hollow, depressed you could say. I mean that's over a goddamn video game I won't be able to play now. But the emotional bond I had with it was far more than that.

This describes my general feeling. Got asked why I was feeling sad by my gf. I told her "I can't play a game I want to now." and got a weird look.

I'm hoping beyond all hope that something extraordinary comes through in the next few weeks. Maybe we can still have our game. Maybe..I'd give anything

I know the feeling,it took me some time to fall asleep last night and my gf asked me what was wrong, so I explained her about that game that I was so excited about and now a lot of people are losing 6 years of their work and are jobless right now and I will never be able to see or even get into this world and I had that weird look too.

Oh man Laraden I had the exact same convo with my GF.... All I know hope isn't dead completely they haven't filed for bankruptcy and they still hold onto every asset of theirs as far as I know.

that first picture reminds me of a Princess Disney movie.... :/ The other 2 pictures are pretty cool though... Hard to judge the art style with just pictures. Would love to see some gameplay!!!

As much as I want to see this game get released, I wouldn't want another studio to complete it. It was the people at 38 making special and if someone were to pick it up and not hire on most if not all of the original devs then...I don't know I don't think I could accept it because it wouldn't be the real thing. Hope that some saving grace will appear and that 38 will be saved.

Employees have mixed feelings about it, too. On the one hand, having someone else complete the game would at least get the assets out there and show off the work that so many of us put in. On the other hand, if the new team made substantial changes to the path we set out, it would be really hard to see. If someone came along and butchered the lore, I'd probably stalk the forums posting corrections.

Sort of how I feel about it. It was going to be THE MMO to be playing, and now if anyone else touches it it's going to be garbage.

With that I just logged into Reckoning and almost started crying so... definitley can't play that for awhile.
