38 Studios and EA have announced the second DLC expansion for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Teeth of Naros promises to introduce players to an ancient land, inhabited by the fabled race of giants, known as the Kollossae. In addition to the opening of the world and expansion of the lore, Teeth of Naros will open up the floating city of Idylla, along with a bundle of new quests, dungeons, baddies, Twists of Fate and items.
The Teeth of Naros DLC will be available April 17, 2012 on Xbox Live for 800 points and PlayStation®Network, Origin™ and Steam for $9.99

So, the kindly folks at 38 Studios have gifted us with half a dozen Legend of Dead Kel DLC codes. I would like to pass these on to you, as a gesture of appreciation for being the most awesome, insightful, creative and interesting community of gamers, theorycrafters, and generally "mighteous" (©Bossner) forum warriors around.
In order to be fair -and have a bit of fun- we are going to give out 6 keys -2 for XBox, 2 for Steam, and 2 for Origin (sorry, PS3eeps) over the next 3 days, as prizes for an impromptu trivia contest. Here is how you can win your code:
- At random intervals, over the next 3 days, I will post a trivia question in the contest thread
- The first person to answer correctly, by posting in the contest thread, wins a Legend of Dead Kel DLC key for the platform of their choice (while supplies last).
- The questions will potentially cover anything related to Reckoning, 38 Studios, or any of the Visionaries behind the Amalur universe.
- Protip: If you want to get a leg up on the competition, follow 38 Watch on Facebook and/or Twitter to be alerted when a question is on the way!

The first post-launch downloadable content for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be released on March 20th. The Legend of Dead Kel will expand the geography of Amalur, introducing players to the island of Gallows End (Yarr!). In addition to an "extensive new story" and cadre of side quests, this DLC promises to provide a number of new weapons, items, and enemies, along with new Twists of Fate and "the most expansive player housing option yet."
Join the Discussion:The legendary pirate Dead Kel and his Hanged Men have returned to haunt the seas of northern Amalur. Embark on a journey to the distant island of Gallows End with the eccentric Captain Brattigan in an adventure that will uncover a secret so great that it has incited wars and toppled kingdoms. Discover powerful new weapons and Twist of Fate Cards and use them to conquer the island's unique inhabitants. Become the Lord of Gravehal Keep and lay claim to this once great fort that stands upon the edge of a cliff in the most expansive player housing option yet. In an extensive new story and a host of new side quests, battle treacherous new enemies and face exciting new challenges on the mysterious island of Gallows End.

Our beloved moderator and lorekeeper, Narria has launched her Reckoning character journal, today. The Journal of Narria Felagund will be an in-character account of Nari's adventures in the Faelands, as she plays through Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The journal will be updated via regular posts to Narria's blog, and we are all excited to follow her exploits, as she forges her own fate in this exciting new world!

In addition to providing you with some exciting tales of adventure, Narria hopes to encourage the roleplayers and creatives in the community to step-up and get involved. We have expanded our forums to facilitate your creative genius. Feel free to help us flesh out our Fan Contribution Forum, and our History & Lore Discussion. Well, this is a big day for Amalur fans! As the Reckoning Demo is unleashed upon the public, we just wanted to wish you all a happy play-through. We're looking forward to comparing war stories!
