Finished the campaign. It was a good story, but I felt like they lied when they said they couldn't put all 3 race's stories into 1 game. Only 5 or 6 of the 20+ missions continued the main plot line (which was amazing though). The side plots for the most part seemed boring and just there to fill out more content. Some were cool though, like the character Tygus.

I finished the original Starcraft single player campaign a week or so ago (for the first time) and I really appreciate how different each of the missions was in the new one. I found SC1's campaign to be a lot more difficult but SC2's was much more interesting.

Glipkerio is right. I'm not bashing the game, it is still THE BEST hands down in the genre. Every mission was unique in one way or another it seemed like. In the first Starcraft you pretty much had a "build base kill other base" type mission, and a "take a limited amount of troops and make it out alive" type of mission. Starcraft 2 on the other hand has taken some classic custom map scenarios and put them into the game in a way that makes sense. For example defending against waves of mobs that gradually get tougher. Or stealthily taking out key targets with invisible units so your main force can take out targets that detect the invisible unit.

Most of the titles in this genre don't even have a compelling story. Oh, like I said, the continuation of the story was really good. There just wasn't much of it.

Are the other expansion games going to be released year by year or is it going to take many years to make each one?

I'm enjoying the game immensely at the moment. The missions are pretty clever and I don't get that dull repetitive feeling from them. They also tailor the game to be very different from multiplayer and that leads to some pretty fun stuff.

The between map interactions and Easter eggs are pretty great too. I'll be buying the other campaign packs without question.

I will want to play through the other 2 expansions eventually. I mainly bought SC2 for the multiplayer anyway, if they don't add sufficient content, and the price isn't too high I will buy it right away. Otherwise I will wait for a Battle Chest or something to come out before getting them.

I kind of want to get the SC2 Battle Chest to save money and due to the fact I don't have a capable computer currently but will have one in a year or so at the latest.
Just in time for Reckoning, maybe Heart of the Swarm, and Diablo 3 or at least that's my hope.
